Piano Store Singapore - Premium Grade A Quality Pianos

What is JUPA?

The Japan Used Piano Association (JUPA) is a respected organisation in Japan that certifies and grades used pianos. When a piano carries JUPA certification, it means the instrument has passed rigorous inspections and meets strict quality criteria around its structural integrity, internal condition, and provenance.

At Melodious Piano Boutique, we specialise in JUPA-certified pianos, ensuring our imported instruments are genuinely high-quality and dependable.

We understand the importance of authenticity when it comes to investing in a piano.  Within Southeast Asia, the piano market can present challenges, including the risk of encountering counterfeit or misrepresented instruments. At Melodious Piano Boutique, we've implemented the JUPA Verification Process to provide you with confidence and assurance in your piano purchase.

The Challenge of Counterfeits

In the vast landscape of Southeast Asia, the piano market can sometimes be fraught with the challenge of counterfeit or misrepresented instruments. We recognize the significance of ensuring that the piano you choose is authentic, reflecting the quality and craftsmanship you expect.

JUPA's Verification Process

Our commitment to transparency and authenticity led us to develop the JUPA Verification Process. This meticulous procedure is designed to confirm essential details such as the piano's origin, make, model, and condition.

By undergoing the JUPA verification, you can trust that the piano you select from Melodious Piano Boutique has been thoroughly examined and validated.

How We Use JUPA Certification at Melodious

  • Grade Selection
We prioritise pianos that meet high JUPA grades (e.g., Grade A, AAAA), selecting instruments with minimal wear and excellent internal condition.

  • Reconditioning in Japan
After JUPA certification, our pianos are fully reconditioned by skilled Japanese technicians. This overhaul includes action regulation, voicing, replacement of worn parts, and polishing to bring the instrument back to optimal condition.

  • Import & Local Inspection
After restoration, each piano is imported to Singapore. We then carry out a final quality inspection to check tuning, humidity control, and mechanical stability.

JUPA's process verifies the true origin of each piano, giving you confidence in its authenticity.
